Could a child you know use a Big?
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mohave County program services are provided to children free of charge primarily on a one-to-one basis through a match with an carefully screened and trained adult volunteer. The agency staff asses the child’s needs and determines the best volunteer for the match, makes the match and continues to support and supervise the relationship. The role of the volunteer is to provide friendship and support to the child.
Any child can use a positive mentor and typically kids in our program can use a little extra support for a variety of reasons. Children may come from a single parent/guardian homes, could use some help with school work or are struggling with self-esteem.
